The Day Before Your Procedure
A nurse from the Pre-Admission Testing area will call you between the hours of 12 Noon and 6:00 pm to confirm your expected time of arrival and to
review pre-procedure instructions and answer your questions. Please notify us if you will not be available by telephone. You may call (215) 707-6869 after Noon on the prior day to your procedure for an exact
arrival time. If you have any changes in your health status such as cough, cold, fever or
pregnancy, call your doctor BEFORE the day of your procedure. It may be necessary to cancel or reschedule your procedure.
The Evening Before Your Procedure
- DO NOT eat solid food after midnight.
- DO NOT drink liquids or water after midnight.
- DO NOT chew gum after midnight.
- DO NOT eat mints after midnight.
- Reduce or stop smoking.
