Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and Hand Center
The Section of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and Hand Center offers cosmetic and reconstructive plastic surgery. In addition to managing simple
and complex wounds, areas of special interest include breast reconstruction following mastectomy, microvascular reconstructions and TRAM flaps, and simple and complex reconstructions for skin cancers. Other surgical
innovations include craniofacial reconstructions, including bone grafts and microvascular tissue transfers, including reimplantations; and the treatment of facio-maxillary and extremity injuries.
A multi-disciplinary facility, the Hand Center offers specialized care of simple and complex hand and arm injuries and problems, including
work-related injuries. The Center is one of the few in the area to offer reimplantation for amputated digits and extremities.
