Diagnosis and management of complex musculoskeletal disease is the focus of this section. Its members participate in cooperative programs with Orthopaedics, Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, Plastic Surgery, and Pediatrics. The section conducts ongoing clinical trials of new diagnostic techniques and therapeutic agents for arthritic and rheumatic disorders.
